“ Very nice experience from start to finish. Receptive saved friendly hostesses, bus boys, and of course our chef Roger. Good and very plentiful food, much more meat than NY Hibachi places. Only things missing from a NY hibachi place is the vegetable flips into the guests mouths, and the saki “squirts“ into awaiting open mouths. The steak and chicken were absolutely delicious! ”

“ We had an amazing dinner at Aquinos! Our server Meagan was so nice and attentive! She made sure our drinks never emptied and we never had dirty dishes in our way! Our chef Kenji was super entertaining and cooked everything to perfection! They were even accommodating of our friend with a tree nut allergy! “ When we come to Pawley’s Island, we always come to Aquino’s. A chef named Marley keeps us coming back. He is the absolute best. We ask for him every time. On this particular trip, we got there at 4:30 (opening time), asked for Marley, they said he had just left because they had too many Chefs working. We had them seat us anyhow. A few minutes later the hostess came up and said they had called Marley and he was coming back in for us. They are awesome, and Marley is terrific. Ask for Marley fried rice, you won’t regret it. ”

“ We had a fantastic time! They chefs were hilarious, and the food portions were humongous for the Hibachi. Thought the sushi was a little small, but what I got was tasty. If you play along, it makes it much more enjoyable. They'll get ya up for some twerking. We had 530 reservations for 14, but we had to wait about 20 minutes for our table. They have a small bar where you could grab drinks. They also have a sushi bar on the opposite side if you're not doing Hibachi. Our wives had been here before and enjoyed it so much. It was their pick for the family outing. ”

“ Dined in the sushi bar, and Aquino’s simply can’t be matched! All the food is so fresh and clean, that you don’t feel too bad for over indulging. The chefs go above and beyond to accommodate the customer’s needs, and our server was awesome! We ordered a ton of different options and shared our picks family style. Even though this building (formally Miyabi’s) had changed names a few times recently, the food quality matches the same standard that it always has - perfection. I’ve been dining at this location since my mother was pregnant with me, and I’m 29 now, so that’s saying something! Always happy to enjoy a meal here! Ps- You can order hibachi in the sushi bar if someone in your party isn’t a fan of sushi, and they offer fully cooked sushi rolls as well (check out the Kentucky Roll)! ”

“ We were a party of 8, so we had a full table to ourselves. Our server was very nice, but I think she helped with several groups in different rooms. There were a few times we had to wait quite a while to request drinks/water, etc. Our chef Roger, was entertaining & provided a fun atmosphere. I had the filet mignon, shrimp & scallops. All of the food was perfectly cooked & drinks were delicious!! Would highly recommend reservations which we had & arrived about 10 min early, but still had to wait 30-40 min past the reservation. Parking lot in front, no problem finding space. Would definitely go back. Overall, we had a great time. ”

“ This is easily one of the best Japanese steakhouses I've ever been to! The food was delicious! I got the steak and hibachi chicken and it came with the biggest pile of fried rice I've ever seen in my life! It was delicious too! The waiter was attentive and quick to take our orders and refill our drinks. And the cook we had was hilarious and made it a fun experience for all. It's pricey but well worth it. I'll be back hopefully next year when we come again for vacation! Thanks for a fantastic experience! My family and I enjoyed it immensely! ”
